The PC290LC-11 with monoblock boom is a consistent further development of our FUMOTEC model range. It combines all experiences and further developments of the previously known kits. We have incorporated many suggestions from our customers into the design of the model.

In its original form, the PC290LC-11 is a hydraulic excavator in the particularly common class up to 30 tons operating weight. As a functional model, however, this size class has been missing on the construction sites of model builders until now.

What makes this kit typical for FUMOTEC is the solid construction of the undercarriage made of welded steel parts. This ensures an ideal center of gravity with maximum digging performance. The construction is completely based on the drawings and documents of the original.

Another highlight is the removable side panels in the track drive area. This design feature allows the drive assemblies and their controllers to be accessed quickly and without tools at any time.

The particularly detailed superstructure of the upper carriage is produced completely ready for assembly using 3D printing technology and fitted with precisely fitting guide pins. Parts of the fairing are fixed with magnets.

The hydraulics have also been further optimized. The tank is flanged directly to the pump. This minimizes the amount of hosing required in the model during assembly. The complete hydraulic components are specially matched to each other. This results in optimum sensitivity and performance of the model. The PC290LC-11 with monoblock boom is delivered with a 5-fold valve block.

The cab is not painted on the inside and may have paint mist, the quick coupler is painted in the gray tone of the Untrerwagen. The Basic paint is our low-cost alternative. Our goal is to color the parts with a high quality paint and the practiced hand of the professional for a fair price. Visible parts are sanded before painting. Components that are not in the visible area may have a slight surface texture.

In the version with adjustable boom, the excavator becomes even more flexible to use, which further increases the play value of this model. The PC290-11 with adjustable boom is delivered with a 6-valve block. All other features correspond to the version with 5-fold valve block.
