The Komatsu D71 PX-24 bulldozer.

Komatsu introduced a completely redesigned dozer called the D71-24 at the Conexpo trade show in 2020.

The D71-24 is a real powerhouse. The fuel-efficient Komatsu engine meets European Stage V emissions standards and offers 179 kW / 243 hp of power. The hydrostatic drive ensures maximum power. When required, maximum thrust is made available. The operating weight of the D71-24 is around 24 tons, depending on the equipment.

Characteristic of the latest dozer generation is the far forward offset driver's cab and the strongly sloped engine hood. The advantage of this design is a particularly good view of the Inpat blade.

Another highlight is the optional foldable dozer blade to limit the transport width to 3m.

Fumotec has transferred this all-rounder, with its many interesting details, to a scale of 1:14.5. Here is an excerpt of the most important model features:

We have worked hard to achieve a particularly sensitive drive. We succeeded with the so-called Fumotec super smooth brushless drive. We have created a particularly vivid video for you, which impressively demonstrates this sensitivity and power. You can find this video in the gallery section.

It also includes the possibility of programming a virtual gearbox. Thus it is possible to store different speeds in the remote control. This gives the modeler the possibility to fully concentrate on the shield.

This 6-way inpat shield is equipped with the foldable widening, just like the big original. Transport on a low loader thus loses its horror due to the excess width.

In the area of the driver's cab, we have given a lot of thought to the accommodation of the individual components. We have integrated the loudspeaker housing and thought of creating a lot of space for the accommodation of, for example, a 3S 5000mAh battery. Of course, the proven system of the RC decks has also found a reuse. The RC components find their place on the now total of 3 RC decks, which also contributes to easy assembly and maintenance. Easy access to all components is provided at all times.

The D71-24 of course comes with the well-known super sensitive Fumotec valves. The precision in the control is an outstanding feature, but also the easy expansion of the valves to be able to control additional functions.

The kit of the new Fumotec D71-24 will be equipped with all scale parts.

We recommend that you use our electronics set with the specially tuned Fumotec brushless controllers for fine control of the traction drive.

You can equip our dozer, as is the case with the original, with an optional rear ripper.

    The Basic painting service includes painting with high-quality two-tone uni paints in Komatsu design. The cab is not painted on the inside and may show paint mist. Painting Basic is our low-cost alternative. Our goal is to color parts with a high quality paint and the skilled hand of a professional for a fair price. Visible parts are sanded before painting. Components that are not in the visible area may have a slight surface texture.
